故事讲述女主角经历了长时间康复期后，到一所海边度假小屋与家人们团聚。在那里，她必须应对自己遗留下来的复杂的生活。是事业给予了她名气、财富和最重要的东西——身份，可她却不得不在失去事业的情况下面对人生中的新一篇章。
值得一提的是，本片也是导演凯内尔·穆德卢佐与老搭档卡塔·韦伯继《女人的碎片》《白色上帝》等多部影片后的再一次合作，本片计划于2024年6月在美国波士顿开拍。
