网讯 据外媒，新一部哥斯拉/金刚怪兽系列电影正在开发中，将由戴夫·卡拉汉姆(《蜘蛛侠：纵横宇宙》《神奇女侠1984》《敢死队》)编剧。
据悉，出品方也希望《哥斯拉大战金刚》系列前两部导演亚当·温加德能回归继续执导，不过目前尚未达成协议，亚当·温加德刚宣布将在2024年秋天执导新片《猛攻》，然后再接其他项目。此外，编剧戴夫·卡拉汉姆目前正在与菲尔·罗德和克里斯托弗·米勒合作，撰写《蜘蛛侠：平行宇宙》系列的第三部即最后一部电影《蜘蛛侠：超越宇宙》的剧本。
《哥斯拉大战金刚2：帝国崛起》正在热映，截至目前，全球累计票房已达到5.44亿美元，仅次于《金刚：骷髅岛》的5.68亿美元票房，位列该系列票房亚军。
