李安与杨紫琼的上一次合作还要追溯到22年前的《卧虎藏龙》，影片荣获第73届奥斯卡最佳外语片等4项大奖。这次杨紫琼主演的《瞬息全宇宙》也成为了本届奥斯卡的热门影片，有望冲击最佳影片、最佳女主角、最佳男配角等多个奖项。
