电影《潜伏》全系列口碑不俗，从2010年推出以来，莱姆波特一家以及由此延展的人物故事令人难忘。在《潜伏5：红门》中，当了几次主演的帕特里克·威尔森继续出演，还首次担任了导演。在故事中，乔什·莱姆波特和即将上大学的长子道尔顿·莱姆波特面对家族的黑暗秘密，以及红门后潜伏的危机。
新海报上，帕特里克·威尔森等主演表情紧张，走廊尽头一堵红色大门带来极强的压迫感。据悉，影片将于7月7日在北美上映。
