马耳他渔业日渐萧条，出身渔民世家的杰斯马克为了养活妻儿，不得不铤而走险尝试黑市捕鱼交易。影片极具现实主义风格，从马耳他本地渔民的视角出发，将对多种社会议题的探讨，巧妙地穿插在一个感人至深的家庭故事之中，呈现了地中海美丽风光背后的悲情真相。片中包括男主角在内的多个角色，均是由当地渔民出演，他们朴实无华的本色出演真实而自然。本片是第一部亮相圣丹斯电影节的马耳他电影，并最终荣获2021年圣丹斯电影节世界电影单元评审团特别奖。 展开全部
